I embrace a holistic and collaborative approach to counseling, recognizing each client as a unique individual with their own narrative. My practice revolves around supporting individual adults and youth on their journey towards healing and empowerment

I pride myself in compassionate understanding, walking side by side to find individualized interventions and goals to best support my clients needs and desired changes.

I work with children of all ages, adolescents, and adults. I am a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and utilize this training to support people with daily and ongoing challenges utilizing nervous system regulation and skill building

My approach with adults, couples and families is focused on creating a safe and secure therapeutic bond to allow for meaningful growth. Holistic, person-centered, compassionate and focused on supporting clients while strengthening their belief in themselves while developing the tools they use to create the life they want.

I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment for all clients, allowing the counseling relationship to encourage client growth and wellness.  I work within a relational perspective acknowledging the importance of the relationships and connections the client has with themselves, others, and within the counseling relationship. I utilize play therapy, mind body awareness, and trauma-informed care to all clients and families to aid in healing for clients.

 My role is to provide a safe, trusting relationship for individuals to express themselves, explore their emotions, and probe their patterns and the systems in which they live.

I provide services to children, adolescents, teens, adults, and families working through multigenerational trauma, complex trauma, learned patterns, grief, anxiety, depression, and identity development through an LGBTQIA+ affirming lens and am trained in EMDR.

I believe that we are relational beings, and the pathway towards healing is through connection. 

I work with children, teens, and adults to explore the way our past experiences impact the way we show up in our current relationships with others and ourselves. My areas of specialization include impulse control disorders, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and intergenerational trauma. I am trained in EMDR

My areas of focus are attachment between parent and child, early childhood trauma, childhood grief and loss, and sensory challenges. I create and maintain a positive and supportive climate that celebrates diversity; is accepting of differences; encourages creativity, learning and empowerment. 

As an intake coordinator and biller, I take pride in my ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate billing and invoicing. I approach each task with a solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence.

Kara works most days and hours and may be roaming the halls and offices supporting clients by receiving pets and scratches or snuggled up during sessions.
